In this contribution to German broadcaster ARD, starting at minute 18:00, RESONATE coordinator Marcus Lindner shared his knowledge on forest disturbances and climate change adaptation in Germany. As an example he uses a case in Germany, a site that has been heavily destroyed by bark beetle infestation, and has now being restored with both planting mixed species and natural regeneration. “It is important to consider what mix of species we promote to make sure we have resilient forests in the future”, says Lindner.
