Webinar: RESONATE support for Scottish forestry

RESONATE scientific coordinator Marcus Lindner and RESONATE researcher Tomáš Hlásny provided important knowledge on how to deal with bark beetle damage in a webinar organized by Scottish Forestry, the Scottish Government agency responsible for forestry policy, support and regulations. The webinar was attended by +150 Scottish foresters, who have a high interest in resilience-related topics, because the UK Forestry Standard has a requirement on resilience, which all forest planners and managers are expected to follow.

The webinar is part of a series organized by Scottish Forestry – in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Foresters – in 2024 – 2025 with the aim of increasing industry discussions and awareness of key resilience issues in response to our changing climate. Watch the webinar here!
